Acceptance of these terms

Effective and last updated: July 10, 2026. By installing, accessing, or using Patchey KDS, you agree to these terms. Patchey KDS is operated by the Patchey KDS developer.

Eligibility and merchant authority

You may use Patchey KDS only if you are authorized to act for the Shopify shop that installs it and can agree to these terms on that shop's behalf. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information and permissions you provide through Shopify.

Service description

Patchey KDS displays recent Shopify orders as kitchen tickets and provides operational kitchen ticket state, a fullscreen kitchen display, settings, and operational statistics. The service is an operational tool and does not replace your responsibility to manage orders, fulfillment, staff, customer communications, or food safety.

Shopify platform dependency

Patchey KDS depends on Shopify for shop authentication, order data, app permissions, and subscription billing. Your use is also subject to Shopify's applicable terms and policies. Shopify remains the authoritative source for your shop's orders and billing records.

Subscription and billing

Patchey KDS offers one plan at $13.99 USD per month. Eligible shops may receive the 3-day free trial configured in Shopify App Pricing. Shopify is the billing provider and determines final subscription approval and any billing or trial eligibility it presents.

Patchey KDS does not use Stripe, PayPal, or another external payment processor. A merchant can open Shopify's hosted plan-management page from Patchey's Billing page. Cancellation result and timing follow Shopify's billing system.

Merchant responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining a valid Shopify account, protecting your staff's access to your devices, reviewing kitchen tickets, and using the service lawfully. You must not rely on Patchey KDS as the sole record for an order or as a substitute for Shopify Admin.

Acceptable use

You must not misuse Patchey KDS. In particular, you must not:

• access the service without authorization;
• interfere with its security, availability, or other users;
• reverse engineer, copy, or create derivative works except where applicable law permits it;
• use the service to violate law or another person's rights; or
• attempt to bypass Shopify, Patchey KDS, or device security controls.

Availability and changes

Patchey KDS may change, maintain, or discontinue parts of the service to improve reliability, security, or functionality. The service may be unavailable from time to time because of maintenance, Shopify availability, Render infrastructure, networks, devices, or other events outside Patchey KDS's reasonable control.

Third-party services and data

Shopify and Render provide services that Patchey KDS relies on. Your use of those services is governed by their applicable terms and policies. Patchey KDS's data practices are described in the Privacy Policy.

Intellectual property and feedback

Patchey KDS and its associated software, branding, and content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership to you. If you provide feedback, you allow Patchey KDS to use it without obligation to you, provided it does not identify you or your shop without permission.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Patchey KDS is provided on an "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Patchey KDS disclaims warranties not expressly stated in these terms and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or lost-profit damages. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you will indemnify Patchey KDS against third-party claims arising from your unlawful use of the service, your breach of these terms, or your violation of another person's rights.

Suspension or termination

Patchey KDS may suspend or terminate access when necessary to protect the service, comply with law, address a security risk, or respond to a material breach of these terms. You can stop using the app by uninstalling it from Shopify and can manage your subscription through the Billing page.

Changes and contact
